The Boulevard Club Wedding | Stephanie & Mark

Stephanie and Mark are married! Their wedding was on the Sunday of the May long weekend at The Boulevard Club in Toronto. As we all know, the weather on this weekend is usually unpredictable (I have memories of hail in the past!) and while there was some rain on their wedding day, we still had an awesome time. The Boulevard Club is definitely not short on great indoor locations for portraits! These two are made for one another. They are each other’s match in every way and it was such a pleasure to capture this big day in their lives. Congratulations Stephanie and Mark!

Engagement Portraits | Tony & Stephen are Getting Married!

Recipe for a good engagement portrait session:
Begin at a location of significance to the couple involved.
From there, you three – the lovers and the photographer – wander.
Stop here and there to take photos. Nooks, doorways, dark alleyways. Whatever suits your fancy.
Chase that light. That setting sun. That dreamy, golden light.
Stop midway through for an outfit change.
After an hour or two, roll it all in with a cocktail at a bar. Preferably one that is dark and moody.

Tony and Stephen’s engagement session was exactly that and I cannot wait to spend more time with these two at their wedding next month.

Two Year Old Twins: Harper + Riley | Carlton Gardens, Melbourne

This family is pretty dear to my husband and I. We just love the Burgers and their little Sliders so much. I adore twins and Harper and Riley are two of the cutest, funniest and greatest kids out there. They are sure of who they are (well, sure in their little two year old minds!) and their awesome parents allow that to shine. Carlton Gardens in Melbourne, Australia is a special place for this family. This is where Mum and Dad got married and two years ago, we did a portrait session when the girls were just babies. A few weeks ago, we were back for more photos! Having two year old twins is no easy task and I loved capturing the real essence of this.

These two are getting married in a short couple of weeks. We met at the location where they say good-bye to one another each work day and that melted my heart. They love bubbles, travel and always laughing along the way and I cannot wait to document their big day.
