Family Portraits at High Park, Toronto

When I get so busy photographing families and kids, it’s so easy to forget about photographing my own. It has been forever since I did a portrait session with my sister and her daughter Li’l K! We made plans to meet at High Park on the long weekend in May to capture some of those magical cherry blossoms. Little did we know that the rain the day before had made them disappear! Regardless, we still had an awesome time doing some portraits of these three who I love so much. The willow trees and pond as a backdrop remind me of a Monet painting. I have been photographing Li’l K since the day that she was born and she because of this, she has become quite the model/ham for the camera. I just love all of her expressions. Photographing family and having yours photographed is so very important.
