Newborn Felicity

One of the best parts about being a portrait photographer is the connections that your camera allows you to make with others. You almost become this random member of the family who shows up for all of the big moments in their lives. Five years ago I photographed Leah and Allan’s wedding at Hart House in Toronto. A couple of weeks ago, I visited them at their home to document the next big milestone in their life: the birth of their daughter Felicity. As expected, she’s adorable. I love doing newborn portrait sessions at the client’s home where everyone is most comfortable. There is more meaning to these images and they capture real life and real moments. I just love that.
