Sometimes my camera takes me to some fun and interesting places. I was recently asked by The Loop to do a video with Kim D’Eon to give some tips for how to pose in portraits. Although I was pretty nervous about being on camera, working with Kim and the crew made it a lot of fun. You can see the video and article here. Family Portraits | Newborn Aylish & her Family at Home, Toronto

This week I got to meet and photograph newborn Aylish at her home surrounded by her family. Big sister Yshia was very proud to show her off! Yshia is a typical three year old, ready to take over the world! She loves Michael Jackson and her paper crown, and she cannot wait to teach her baby sister all that she knows. We also got Auntie in a couple of images and I included a typical three year old portrait in that diptych. Kids will always be kids! Here is Aylish at at nine days old, all squishy and adorable.

Baby Portraits | Norah is Six Months Old | Studio, Toronto

Norah is six months old and what a little cutie she is! You may remember her from her newborn portrait session done back in August. Norah and her parents came into the studio for a portrait session last week and I was so excited to see how this li’l lady has grown! She is now sitting on her own and has one fresh new tooth. I love capturing babies when they are this age.

Family | One Year Old Nicholas | Studio, Toronto

Nicholas is one! This is the fifth time that I have photographed him in the last year and I have loved witnessing his growth. We did this session at my studio and ended off with a good ol’ cake smashing. Nicholas could not get enough of it!

Family | One Year Old River | Studio, Toronto

I cannot tell you how excited I was to photograph River again! The last time that I saw her she was a month old. Fast-forward eleven months and she is a walking one year old full of life and laughs. We started the studio session with some family portraits and ended it with a good ol’ cake smashing. That gorgeous cake was made by River’s talented Mom and the li’l lady did not hesitate to dive on into it!
