Sometimes my camera takes me to some fun and interesting places. I was recently asked by The Loop to do a video with Kim D’Eon to give some tips for how to pose in portraits. Although I was pretty nervous about being on camera, working with Kim and the crew made it a lot of fun. You can see the video and article here. Here are some behind-the-scene images as well as the quick portraits that I made of Kim that day.
P.S. Dorota Buczel of Alchemy Center did my make up for the shoot. I love her work!

This week I got to meet and photograph newborn Aylish at her home surrounded by her family. Big sister Yshia was very proud to show her off! Yshia is a typical three year old, ready to take over the world! She loves Michael Jackson and her paper crown, and she cannot wait to teach her baby sister all that she knows. We also got Auntie in a couple of images and I included a typical three year old portrait in that diptych. Kids will always be kids! Here is Aylish at at nine days old, all squishy and adorable..jpg)

Nicholas is one! This is the fifth time that I have photographed him in the last year and I have loved witnessing his growth. We did this session at my studio and ended off with a good ol’ cake smashing. Nicholas could not get enough of it!.jpg)
