Baby Portrait | Jessica Blaine Smith Seriously. How adorable is four month old Everett?! I recently traveled to Vancouver Island to meet the li’l man and to spend some time with his awesome parents. They live in the country where my cell had no service and it was pure bliss. We did some portraits of him on the beach before doing some more with the whole family. I cannot wait to continue photographing him here against a log as he grows older. It’s going to be a great record of life.

Family Portraits | One Year Old Daniel | Studio, Toronto

How cute is one year old Daniel. I mean, seriously?! Those blue eyes are definitely going to break some hearts when he is an adult! Daniel recently came into the studio with his parents for a portrait session and it was a lot of fun. He had JUST started walking a few days before the session and by the end of the photo taking, we officially called him a walker because he was all over the place! I love when kids are comfortable in the studio to totally be themselves.

Meet three month old Logan! And what an adorable li’l guy he is! He belongs to an awesome couple whose wedding I photographed in December of 2011 at the now defunct Boiler House in the Distillery District. Since their dog Gaston made an appearance in their engagement photos, we also had to also include him in this session! I love that we did – Logan’s first best friend!

Family Portraits | One Month Old Dehker | Studio, Toronto

And then they were five! You may recognise this awesome family as I have been photographing them for years. With the birth of their son Dehker, it was time for another family portrait session. Dehker’s older brothers are now five and three which are perfect ages to help with out. Growing up in a house of three girls, I can imagine how wild theirs must be with three boys! I can also imagine how much fun they must have all of the time. The photos of the three boys together totally melts my heart. It’s images like these that I know are going to be so special when they are adults. Photographing family is important.
