Some of you are going to recognise these people! Firstly, because they are both photographers and secondly, because Lindsay photographs a lot of my weddings with me! She has been shooting with me for a few years now and in a month, we’ll be celebrating at her own wedding!

In July we photographed a wedding together and on the drive home, we were talking about my own recent engagement portrait session that I had with the awesome Mexican photographer Fer Juaristi. I said how it was such a great experience to be photographed like that. To have an hour together with just us and a photographer. To be photographed in our regular everyday clothes. To make portraits in our own neighbourhood. Images that really represent us. After that conversation, we decided that her and Brett needed to do their own engagement session so last week we met up at High Park to make some portraits. They chose High Park as the location because this is where they like to go to relax together. It’s always fun to photograph people who you know so well. I met Brett before they started dating and when I was looking for a new assistant, he told me that I had to hire his then new girlfriend. I’m so glad that I took him up on that. It’s been fun to watch their relationship grow and I cannot wait to be a guest at their wedding in August!
